Captain America Civil War was one of this year's blockbuster titles during the Summer this year, and released in theaters on May 6, 2016 and on Blu-ray a few months later on September 13th. When the film premiered in theaters, it was being generally compared to another film released at the same time, Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice. The plot follows having two views when The Avengers were accused of being core like villans, rather than heroes and will be enforced to be supervised by the government. On one side, Captain America, played by Chris Evans, thinks that The Avengers should still defend the Earth without being interfered by the government, while Iron Man played by Robert Downey Jr. feels that the government supervision should be improvised to prevent any unintentional disasters from ever happening. This leads to The Avengers feeling separated when one disagrees with the other.
The common thing that was compared between Batman vs Superman and Captain America Civil War was that both involved peoples' favorite superheroes fighting against one another and that was it. Both were meant to be two separate experiences for people to enjoy, but would end up having the two movies being compared to one another between fans of the community to say which of the two was better. Ultimately, comparing both movies is a waste of time for everyone and just enjoy both of them for what they were. I would reccomend Captain America Civil War only for those that have watched the previous two movies Captain America The First Avenger and Captain America The Winter Soldier, but that doesn't mean that you could still watch it and like it.
